Albertinia Museum

Albertinia Museum

The museum opened its doors on 30 April 2004 with the goal to preserve the heritage of the town and community of Albertinia. Over the years the artefacts and exhibition grew to where today it will leave you fascinated by the rich history of the town. The antiques and memorabilia on display sketches an interesting story of how past generations lived in the area. You can also learn more about the thatch reed industry, a famous export of Albertinia, and of course also the Aloe plant, the bitter juice harvested from it used in a wide variety of health and beauty products.
